Ngalgun Civil (pronounced Nal-gun) draws its name from Casey's great-great-grandfather. Ngalgun, also known as Girrigwarr, was a powerful and revered man of the Bard tribe. His legacy lives on through our name, guiding the strength and integrity behind everything we do.
Our logo takes inspiration from the Bard design jimorrgomol, symbolising 'warrior'. The symbol among many others, were passed down directly to Casey's family. Jimorrgomol, carved and ochred into goowarn (pearl shell) known as riiji, representing cultural knowledge, status, and leadership.
This symbol is more than a logo, it reflects our identity. It stands for resilience, responsibility, and connection to Country. These values guide how we work, lead, and deliver for our clients and community.
At Ngalgun Civil, every project carries forward that legacy of being strong, reliable, and grounded in something greater.
